What, how, to whom and why do you communicate?
How does your brand look?
Design for everything you need
To specify the price, we need to ask a lot of questions. Let's have a short, no-obligation chat about your expectations beforehand.
Or send an email to ahoj@semibold.cz
We've gone from working with small businesses and startups to large-scale projects for major brands such as Budweiser Budvar, Planetarium Prague or Czech Table Tennis.
You can find case studies and a list of projects on the Our work page.
When you are satisfied with the quote submitted on the basis of your brief, we will ask you for an advance payment. This is usually 50% of the cost of the first project (strategy, identity and touchpoint design are always divided into separate projects).
Process details are defined in our terms and conditions, but if these are not enough for you, we can sign a framework agreement.
We even prefer to collaborate in the form of a retainer, where we don’t set a fixed price for the project, but instead you pay us monthly. This way, we create a healthy pressure on both sides to balance quality and speed and, most importantly, reduce the risk resulting from unnecessarily large commitments. To start working for you in this way, we need almost nothing more than payment for the first month.
The output of the brand strategy is a presentation, in practice usually called a brand manual, brand book or brand guidelines. It contains ideas and rules that together define what the brand communicates to whom and how.
The output of the visual identity is the graphic manual (or also logo manual, style guide, design system), which complements the brand strategy with the rules of visual communication. It always includes at least the logo and the rules for its use, the definition of typography and the color palette.
The manual is followed by suggestions for individual uses of the brand identity. If you have an in-house team of designers, open data of our drafts may be sufficient, but more often we prepare print data and templates for our clients, thanks to which they are able to create most of the output independently of us.
As mentioned in the previous point, we try to prepare the deliverables in such a way that you are as little dependent on us or other suppliers as possible.
Of course, we're happy to help with bigger challenges, too. We'll invite you to the ClickUp app, where you'll be able to assign us new tasks and provide feedback on any ongoing ones.
Long-term collaboration on the design of communication materials can be paid either as a one-time fee based on your current needs or on a flat-rate basis.
In theory, the basic elements of a brand can be created in a few weeks. But to get to a result that you will use for a long time, effectively and happily, we need intensive interaction with people on your side.
In our experience, it's useful to put at least a few months between the first meeting and the first output from the printer.
We usually choose one of these 3 levels of intensity: Cleanup, Facelift or Revolution. A basic description of these categories can be found a few sections above.
We prefer even more to have a retainer collaboration where we don't set a fixed price for the project, but instead you pay per month of collaboration. This way we create a healthy pressure on both sides to balance quality and speed, and most importantly reduce the risk of unnecessarily large commitments.
We can easily follow up the identity creation with website development or, with our colleagues at the Near & Dear Group, continuously add other services such as photo and video production or campaigns and social media.
